Blade selection should consider machine model, blade material, tooth count, and workpiece thickness. For harder materials or frequent use, M42 is usually more suitable. For general cutting or lower-load work, standard material blades can help control consumable cost. For tooth count, 14T is more suitable for thicker or general cutting, while 18T is better for thinner materials or cleaner cut surfaces.
XB-125 uses the 1430 blade series. Users can choose M42 or standard material, and 14T or 18T tooth count according to material and cut finish requirements. For uncertain material hardness, M42 is the safer spare-blade option.
XB-180 / 180 uses the 1625 blade series and is suitable for larger pipes and common jobsite cutting work. For frequent cutting or harder materials, M42 helps reduce excessive wear; for general materials, standard material blades help control consumable cost.
Beaver 6 uses the 1642 blade series and is suitable for higher-capacity jobsite cutting. For metal pipes and profiles, select 14T or 18T according to material thickness to balance cutting efficiency and blade life.
Blade length must match the machine first, because XB-125, XB-180 / 180, and Beaver 6 use different blade sizes. Then choose M42 or standard material according to workpiece material and usage frequency. Finally, choose 14T or 18T based on material thickness and surface finish needs. This prevents blade mismatch, low cutting efficiency, and premature wear.
Blade specifications are available for XB-125, XB-180 / 180, and Beaver 6 machines.
