This hinged four-wheel pipe cutter is suitable for cutting ductile cast iron, cast iron, steel, and stainless steel pipes, with capability up to Sch.100 pipe. Its enclosed 360° frame design delivers strong cutting force, and the pipe can be cut by rotating the handle only 90°–110°. Most pipes require only approx. 10 cm clearance around the pipe, making it ideal for confined, spark-sensitive, or high-efficiency cutting environments.

Wheel Selection Must Consider Material, Wall Thickness, and Tool Model
The major risk with this type of cutter is selecting by pipe diameter alone while ignoring wall thickness and material. Sch.80, Sch.100, cast iron, and ductile cast iron all have different cutting requirements. Using the wrong wheel can cause difficult feed, accelerated wear, or unstable cut quality.
