FBS Cable Stripper for Vulcanized Semiconductive Layer

Designed for removing vulcanized, extruded, and bonded semiconductive layers from medium-voltage cables. Suitable for Ø10–52 mm cables. Supports circular and spiral cutting with adjustable cutting depth from 0–1.5 mm.

Product Features
  • For Semiconductive Layer Removal: Designed for vulcanized, extruded, and bonded semiconductive layers.
  • Start from Any Cable Position: Allows stripping to begin from any point on the cable for greater flexibility.
  • Secure Positioning Design: Vise-like fixing method improves stripping stability.
  • Bidirectional Axial Feed: Axial feed can be enabled or disabled and operated in both directions.
  • Controlled Layer Retention: When stripping from the outside, approx. 25 mm of semiconductive layer remains; when stripping from the inside outward, approx. 6 mm remains.
  • Circular and Spiral Cutting: Supports circular and spiral cutting for precise material removal.
  • Adjustable Cutting Depth: Cutting depth from 0–1.5 mm can be adjusted according to layer thickness.
  • Replaceable Blade: Easy maintenance and extended tool service life.
  • 200 mm Maximum Rotation Diameter: Useful for assessing working space on site.
  • Hard Case Set: Includes tool, hex key, silicone grease, and hard resin tool case.

Dedicated Semi-Conductive Layer Stripping Tool
The vise-like positioning system provides stable fixing, while axial feed can be enabled or disabled and used in both directions for MV / HV cable preparation starting from any cable position.
Features
Product Features
Designed for vulcanized, extruded, and bonded semi-conductive layers, with stable positioning, bidirectional axial feed, circumferential / spiral cutting, and replaceable blades.
Dedicated for Semi-Conductive Layers
Designed for removing vulcanized, extruded, and bonded semi-conductive layers on MV / HV cables.
Starts from Any Cable Position
Allows stripping to begin from any position on the cable, suitable for mid-span work or specific starting points.
Stable Vise-Like Positioning
Vise-like positioning helps improve fixing stability and reduces the risk of movement during stripping.
Bidirectional Axial Feed
Axial feed can be enabled or disabled and used in both directions for improved work flexibility.
Preserved Semi-Conductive Layer Ends
When stripping from the outside of the cable, approximately 25 mm of semi-conductive layer remains; when stripping from the inside outward, approximately 6 mm remains.
Circumferential and Spiral Cutting
Supports circumferential and spiral cutting with adjustable cutting depth and replaceable blades for easier maintenance.
Applications
Applications
Suitable for Ø 10–52 mm MV / HV cables and 0–1.5 mm vulcanized, extruded, or bonded semi-conductive layers.
MV / HV Cable Preparation
Suitable for Ø 10–52 mm cables and 0–1.5 mm semi-conductive layer stripping work.
Multiple Semi-Conductive Layers
Suitable for vulcanized, extruded, and bonded semi-conductive layer removal.
Any-Position and End-Preserved Stripping
Suitable for work that requires stripping from any cable position and preserving semi-conductive layer length at the ends.
